Loterie Romande implements Responsible Gambling solution Preventor

We’re proud to share that our long-standing partnership with Loterie Romande continues, as they have chosen to implement Preventor to further protect their players.

Established in 1937, Loterie Romande operates lotteries and sports betting across the six French-speaking cantons of western Switzerland, directing all profits to non-profit causes within the region (CHF 258.2 million in 2024).

Building on their existing responsible gambling measures, Loterie Romande has now implemented Preventor—a solution developed by Sustainable Interaction to help operators detect and address problematic gambling behaviour early.

Preventor combines objective gambling data with players’ own perceptions of how gambling affects them to create a precise, AI-validated risk profile for each player. This in-depth analysis enables Preventor to deliver timely, automated communications and targeted interventions—reaching the right player at the right moment to prevent and respond to signs of harmful gambling.

Johan Brandsten, CEO of Sustainable Interaction, comments:

“Working with Loterie Romande’s professional and dedicated team on this important initiative has been a true pleasure. We’re excited to continue developing the system and introducing new, innovative features going forward.”

Bettina Di Lello, Corporate Social Responsibility manager, comments:

"Working with Sustainable Interaction has allowed us to develop and deploy an effective system for identifying players with at-risk gambling behaviour on our online gaming platform. Preventor enables us to communicate with our players to provide them with valuable feedback on their gambling habits and appropriate advice when needed.”
