Sustainable Interaction delivers digital RG refresher courses to Loterie Romande

Loterie Romande, which operates lotteries and sports betting in the French-speaking cantons of Switzerland, has retrained all staff and retailers in responsible gambling, with a particular focus on preventing underage gambling.

Loterie Romande takes an effective approach by combining in-depth digital responsible gambling training with periodic refresher courses, each focusing on key themes the organisation wants to emphasise. This year’s main focus is preventing underage gambling.

This fall, Loterie Romande rolled out refresher courses to its 241 office staff and the staff of its 2,400 retail locations.

Johan Brandsten, CEO of Sustainable Interaction, comments:

“We’ve been working with Loterie Romande on responsible gambling training for almost two decades now, and they truly set a global benchmark by ensuring that both employees and retailers are continuously trained and fully engaged in responsible gambling practices. Short refresher courses are a great way to keep the topic alive without placing too heavy a demand on participants”, says Johan Brandsten, CEO at Sustainable Interaction.

Bettina Di Lello, Corporate Social Responsibility manager, comments:

Ongoing training for Loterie Romande employees and retail partners is a cornerstone of our commitment to protecting minors and preventing problem gambling. Our collaboration with Sustainable Interaction enables us to deliver regular, interactive training that reinforces best practices and keeps these critical responsibilities at the forefront of daily operations.
